We are currently seeking a Part-Time Accountant Controller to join our team! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs.
Job Types: Part-time Contractor paid Hourly on W9/1099 basis for what is anticipated to be 10-20 Hours per Week on average (may be more during month end time periods) over the next 1-3 Months. There may be additional ongoing project based work depending upon performance after the first 60-90 days.
Compensation Range: $90.00 – $110.00 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end bookkeeping and expense analysis
- Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
- Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
- Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options
- Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
- Prepare profit and loss models
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
- MUST BE CPA WITH AN ACTIVE LICENSE (ONLY CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTS WILL BE CONSIDERED)
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ideal Candidate
- You must live in the Tampa, Florida area in order to be eligible for this position
- Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Largo, FL and this job will require being in the office during flexible assignment hours
- Note that some remote work will be possible after several weeks of aligning expectations and job duties
- While this job will begin as a “Financial Analyst”, our objective is to find the right individual who will help the position evolve in to more of a “Hybrid Role” as a “Director level Comptroller” over time

- There is an initial 90 Day temporary/probationary period while we evaluate the candidates abilities, and then compensation increases are possible for the right resource

Our objective with a new hire in this capacity is to train the right individual in order to grow and adapt as they learn new technologies allowing flexible project/task assignment. The ideal candidate will be suited to quickly gain experience in learning a multitude of new productions/solutions.
