Accounting & Analysis Manager
Everest Recruiting is a full-service recruiting firm that has been successfully assisting candidates with their career search for a combined 50+ years. Our customer provides converting and distribution services for digital print media including papers, films, and textiles to the US market. They are seeking an Accounting & Analysis Manager to provide financial statements and analysis for 6 locations nationwide in Tampa, FL as well as worldwide headquarters located in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly accounting close, including preparing financial statements and review of variances
- Must understand a balance sheet and income statement
- Financial reporting for Senior Management and worldwide headquarters
- Bridge the gap between the business needs and the technical aspect of the ERP system
- Spearhead ERP upgrades and implementations for Finance Department
- Work closely with business partners to implement and integrate reporting systems and enhancements.
- Develops best practices for report deployments.
- Help design, document and maintain business and system processes
- Year-end audit responsibilities including working with external auditors to provide documentation and analysis
- Inventory Responsibilities including
- Inventory Reconciliation
- Physical Inventory Reconciliation
- Assist with federal and state agencies as it pertains to taxes
- Backup for Cash Management
- Strong Business Intelligence application skills
- Various other financial analysis and reporting as required
Experience and Skills Required:
- BS in Accounting
- 5+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Report writing and ERP implementation experience
- Strong Excel skills required
- Pivot tables
- V-lookups
- Experience with MRP/ERP system implementations
- Knowledge of Power BI from Microsoft helpful
