Taxleaf.com, accounting firm located in Town N Country-Tampa area is seeking a salaried, full-time permanent Accounting Assistant / Tax Preparer. We need someone who is diligent, detail and goal oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced environment. We are willing to train the right candidate, someone who is seeking to grow in the field of accounting and ready to grow with us. Language: English-Spanish and Portuguese (preferred).
Duties include:
– Accounting registry (Xero, QB or similar)
– Tax preparation for various types of taxpayers (individuals, corporations, etc.) mostly using UltraTax or other platforms.
– Sales tax and payroll preparation.
– IRS notice correspondence.
– Workpaper preparation.
– Sales experience.
