Accounts Payable Specialist

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls.
- Address inquiries from clients, lenders, and internal team members with efficiency and courtesy.
- Prepare and issue checks to the appropriate parties.
- Process wire transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Pre-balance files meticulously to ensure all financial aspects of transactions are correct before funding.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions
- Work closely with closing agents, escrow officers, and other team members to ensure seamless transaction processes
- Be a team player, assisting with additional tasks as needed to support overall team success and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications in real estate, finance, or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a title company, real estate, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions and funding processes.
- Familiarity with title company operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and title company software.
