myMatrixx is looking to fill three full time accounting positions based in our Tampa office with Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm office hours.
Scope of Position:
Assist the accounting department as needed for payable functions including processing accurate, timely payments, any scanning, mailing, and data entry work. This position reports to the Senior Accountant.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process routine AP disbursements in accordance with purchase order procedures and IRS documentation guidelines. Such disbursements include traditional AP vendors, ancillary vendors, credit memos, expense reports
- Obtain appropriate documentation for vendors and organize on shared accounting directory
- Process expense reports and credit card activity ensuring appropriate documentation and GL coding
- Maintain vendor files with current contracts and purchase forms
- Scan and organize documents on shared network for proper archiving
- Provide overall assistance to others in the department as directed
- A/P Accounting Clerk and Senior Accountant will backup for these positions
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications – Education, Training, and/or Experience
- Education: High School Diploma, Associates degree or greater not required, but would be preferable
- Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products specifically. Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Great Plains knowledge preferred. Ability to navigate within myMatrixx Internet Program.
