Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in recording the proper application of tenant payments of rent, operating expenses, real estate taxes, and any other additional rental charges
- Prepare monthly commercial billings and tenant statements
- Prepare weekly Receivables Aging reports for management
- Performing detailed analysis on tenant accounts and communicate results with Property Management
- Work with Property Management personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts
- Respond to inquiries from Property Management and Asset Management
- Assist Lease Administrator with onboarding of new properties as it relates to the Lease Admin function
- Read and understand commercial leases with regard to tenant billbacks
- Participate in and complete special projects as requested by management
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an accounting or business-related field preferred
- 2 + years of experience in accounts receivable, lease administration or property management is desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Possesses exceptional analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, and is capable of multi-tasking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
