Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording the proper application of tenant payments of rent, operating expenses, real estate taxes, and any other additional rental charges
  • Prepare monthly commercial billings and tenant statements
  • Prepare weekly Receivables Aging reports for management
  • Performing detailed analysis on tenant accounts and communicate results with Property Management
  • Work with Property Management personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts
  • Respond to inquiries from Property Management and Asset Management
  • Assist Lease Administrator with onboarding of new properties as it relates to the Lease Admin function
  • Read and understand commercial leases with regard to tenant billbacks
  • Participate in and complete special projects as requested by management
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an accounting or business-related field preferred
  • 2 + years of experience in accounts receivable, lease administration or property management is desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Possesses exceptional analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, and is capable of multi-tasking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
