As a company working to disrupt the traditional process we celebrate unique titles and names. The industry title of Acquisition Associate is known at Opendoor as a Valuation Lead. This is because our team is paving the way to lead the industry in home valuations. The Valuation Lead’s objective is to provide accurate pricing throughout the entire Opendoor pipeline, from acquisition to renovation to resale.
Responsibilities:

- You will analyze the Tampa residential real estate market, including individual home evaluation
- You will collaborate with our renovations team on underwriting decisions
- You will engage in special projects, e.g. collaborating with our data science team on home valuation
Requirements:

- You have at least 1-2 years professional experience evaluating home prices or understanding renovations costs
Skill sets:

- You have strong EQ and IQ
- You are analytical and detail oriented
- You are flexible in the workplace (ability to work in the office and field)
- You are an excellent communicator (oral and written)
Even better:

- You have deep real estate industry experience
- You have strong technical skills (Excel, Tableau, SQL, or ability to learn how to use advanced tools)
