Broome Capital is a progressive development company focused on residential and commercial projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Our rapid growth has created the need for an Acquisitions Intern to assist with the execution of our development pipeline. This is a part time role based out of our Tampa office, and will be a supporting role to our Director of Acquisitions.
-Assist senior management with the full acquisitions process including:
-Market feasibility analysis
-Property due diligence
-Zoning/entitlement research
-Pro forma financial modeling and forecasting
-Initial loan & property closing process
-Maintain and update project schedules for acquisitions & development milestones
-Take proactive approach in sourcing leads for acquisitions team
-Work with a passionate local team, in establishing and executing a joint vision and strategy for the successful execution of development projects
-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
-Previous computer experience in Business Class and familiarity with financial models in Excel
-Candidate should have intellectual curiosity and strong entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work well with a team or with limited supervision
-Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel (may be required on occasion)
-General knowledge of financial & real estate markets
