We are currently hiring for an Acquisitions Specialist who has experience estimating the value of single family residential real estate in Florida, specifically the Tampa area. The Acquisitions Specialist supports the process in all aspects of sourcing, valuating and executing transactions for OfferPad. Ideally, this person has past real estate experience and is looking for a great office job with awesome benefits where they can grow and thrive!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Underwriting OfferPad offers to customers
- Make offers for single family properties
- Bid on auction properties that meet OfferPad requirements
- Analyze properties from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, wholesale, off-market and auction properties
- Analyze data and trends to proactively identify and acquire the most profitable properties
- Underwrite large portfolio deals
- Ability to work weekends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Thorough understanding of real estate market of states being serviced by OfferPad
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property valuation for single family homes
- Understanding of applicable state requirements and regulations as they relate to underwriting single family homes
- Current and valid real estate license in Florida
- Ability to learn underwriting process and regulations for different markets/states
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Proficient in common computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Work well independently and in a team; Self-starter and independent worker, but not hesitant to ask for direction when needed
- Solid work ethic and a professional, proactive and positive approach to work
- Strong quantitative and analytical ability and internet research, organization and communication skills
- Effective decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure
