What is the US Advisory Services team responsible for?
US Advisory Services (USAS) is responsible for sales, marketing and business development throughout the US. USAS employees operate from more than eight FTI global locations to support our internal and external sales teams. USAS has five distinct US Sales Channels: Broker Dealer, Institutional, Strategic Relationship Team, Private Wealth Division & ETF, DC & VA Investment Only. Our mission is to provide personalized advice and support so effective, financial intermediaries choose Franklin Templeton as their primary Advisor to build and preserve clients’ assets.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a USAS Administrative Assistant?
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the US Retail Sales teams located in both Rancho Cordova, CA and St. Petersburg, FL, working closely with senior administrative assistants located on each coast to provide business continuity and additional support for both internal and external sales staff.
  • Provide administrative support for the USAS Retail Sales Team. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Process check requests for East Coast senior advisor consultants
    • Schedule SAC-requested Portfolio Manager travel/speaking engagements on behalf of West Coast senior advisor consultants
    • Coordinate CIMA and other designations for USAS retail sales staff
    • Cross train on support provided to the Divisional Sales Managers (DSM) to provide back up for Senior Administrative Assistants who support same.
    • Process expense reports as needed
    • Coordinate meetings as needed, schedule conference rooms & catering
    • Assist with on-boarding of new employees
    • Data entry into our CRM (SMART)
  • Manage and complete assigned projects as needed
  • Maintain St. Petersburg 180/1 conference rooms and schedules
  • Assist compliance manager with administrative tasks as needed
What ideal qualifications would help someone be successful?
  • Associates Degree in Business administration or related field or Administrative certification
  • 3+ years administrative experience in a professional environment supporting multiple leaders
  • Experience coordinating/maintaining busy travel schedules for senior-level leaders
  • MS Office skills including PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to organize and maintain accurate, orderly files and records
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to assess problems quickly and determine to what level they should be elevated
