We are a development/construction company seeking a qualified, experienced administrative assistant to join our team.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on topics such as materials, processes, etc. and write detailed reports of findings
  • Enter data in Excel with consistency, clarity, concision, and a high level of organization
  • Speak with vendors, subcontractors, service providers, and potential hires in a friendly, professional manner to gather information, build relationships, and conduct business
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technology, and networking events
  • Compare options, think critically and outside-the-box, and make practical decisions
  • Office support– fill and manage paperwork, schedule meetings, and maintain office supplies

Preferred qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, phone presence, and writing skills
  • Extensive research experience and strong desire to learn
  • Experience in the construction industry or related fields such as interior design, real estate, business administration, IT, and legal
  • Experience in procurement– researching items to be procured, comparing specs and prices, entering data, and writing recommendation reports
  • Knowledge of navigating customs to import supplies and materials
  • Technology skills including Microsoft Suite, Windows systems, and office equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour
