The Administrative Assistant role at Hunter Warfield plays a vital role in our daily operations through professionalism and the ability to multi-task under minimal supervision.

This role provides various support duties to the organization as needed. The primary duties of the Administrative Assistant will be assigned by the Office Manager. Duties will vary based upon projects and tasks that are being completed. To be successful in this role, the candidate should: posses above average multi-tasking skills, be good at problem solving, be reliable to complete tasks with minimal supervision, thrive in an environment where daily responsibilities can/will change daily. Candidates must be trustworthy, have a team player mentality, and posses a desire to grow within the organization.

The position will also cross train and learn the duties of our Admin Assistant/Receptionist. Duties that the Administrative Assistant will fulfill when covering for the Admin Assistant/Receptionist include : Distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail for shipping using postage meter or third party carrier. Imaging needed documents. Operates switchboard. Greets vendors and business guests with professional and warm demeanor. Provides administrative services to staff by copying documents, managing office supplies and kitchen supplies. Manages Birthday/Anniversary card distribution monthly. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Skills/Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. 1-2 years of related experience is strongly preferred. Superior customer service skills/experience and proficiency in multi-tasking are required.
