Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute daily administrative tasks in the office.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail. This includes scanning and distributing mail timely and effectively within the law firm and externally.
  • Answer and redirect incoming phone calls. This may include responding to general, non-legal client inquiries.
  • Perform new client intakes.
  • Open new files according to the procedures within each department.
  • Pay invoices as directed.
  • Manage and create excel spreadsheets to streamline the client experience and internal processes.
  • Maintain prompt, efficient, and consistent communication occurs between team members and clients.
  • Follow procedures for consistent case handling within the civil department.
  • Required to be in the office 30 hours per week. May work up to 10 hours per week on a remote basis.
  • Remain available for occasional intakes after hours or on the weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary of $40,000.00-$60,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Opportunities for bonus pay – based on firm profit sharing incentive.
  • Personal and professional coaching, training, and education with the Jenkins Law Team.
  • Eligible for 401k plan after the first year of employment following the 90 day probationary period.
  • 80 hours of PTO annually per the terms of the PTO policy
