- The Administrative Assistant provides general secretarial and clerical support for the church office and Pastor. This position reports to the Senior Pastor. Successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience as an administrative assistant. Experience in a church setting is a plus
- Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Demonstrated skill in using personal computers, particularly desktop publishing and word processing. Experience with Microsoft products required, including Publisher.
- Experience with, and enthusiasm for, social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional and effective manner.
- Basic knowledge of how the parish operates and ability to grasp quickly how the parish office functions.
- Experience with coordinating volunteers
- Ability to relate to a variety of persons.
- Ability to prioritize work and work independently.
- Visibly demonstrate a lifestyle and approach that is consistent with Christian discipleship.
