A family-friendly Tampa Bay Mortgage Company is looking for a phenomenal “people person” who loves to serve people, is detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and hard-working, to be our newest administrative assistant. Look, please read below, we’re looking for ONE exceptional person. Four of our best people have started in this position and gotten promoted within our organization.

We’re looking for someone who is hunting for a long-term career with an energetic, innovative, high-producing local mortgage team. We only want someone who is genuinely a people-person and is a team-player. We work hard, helping a lot of people, but we have a lot of fun doing it. We intend to groom this person to grow with our organization (almost every person who started in this position was promoted). This is a full-time, entry-level, salaried position. Mortgage experience is NOT required…being able to deliver exceptional customer service IS required. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

The Workplace

This person must:

  • be an absolute superstar on the phone, memorably-friendly, & a phenomenal communicator.
  • be detail-oriented& able to accomplish administrative tasks on the computer and around the office efficiently.
  • be able to effortlessly deliver exceptional customer service to clients & sincerely care about helping people.
  • know your way around the computer (MS Office, internet, be able to type at least 45 wpm, basic admin technology)
  • have the mindset of a self-starter, with a hunger to learn, and ability to implement new things…LAZY people please don’t apply.
  • have a reliable car and transportation (we are located in the NW Tampa area, 33626 zip code).
  • must have ability and willingness to cover some weekend communication (typically via email) as needed, and serve on our rotating once-monthly after-hours & weekend phone coverage (typically not a lot of work needed, however).

You’ll be performing these main roles in our business:

  • Answering phones, managing email (passing calls/emails accordingly).
  • Performing web-based order processing of needed document/reports.
  • Following up with clients via phone, email, text, website, and sometimes in-person.
  • Collect & organize customer data & documents for loan approval & administrative tasks associated with mortgages.

We will train the right person with the right attitude and mindset. This person will be mentored by an 18-year mortgage originator veteran. The sky is the limit with this position.

This is not a work-remotely position and will not ever be.
