GENERAL SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of administrative and human resources duties to help support a logistics company who contracts with Amazon. Punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to multi-task is key in this fast-paced work environment. Provides clerical support to the local station and its management staff with excellent communication and organizational skills.

This is a full-time position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In charge of administrative tasks for assigned location.
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, assisting with payroll and timecards; maintaining personnel files, including new hire paperwork; helping with the on-boarding process, including recruiting and tracking prospective employees
  • Data Entry
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Strong emphasis on organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability and willingness to multi-task in an environment with multiple distractions.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities, working with the Management Team to achieve the Company’s goals.
  • Proficient with various computer programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and various internet applications.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management, employees, and outside venders.
  • Displays professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to handle data and information that is of a sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Must have good math skills with an ability to understand and work with spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
