ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) JOB DESCRIPTION
Summit Design + Build has an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to office staff and other company personnel. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a ‘can-do’ attitude, strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once and prioritize their immediacy.
Responsibilities:
- Answer the phone with warmth & friendliness & direct calls to appropriate person
- Greet visitors
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, agendas, forms etc.
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Maintain contacts in database
- Take inventory of and order all office supplies
- Maintain office equipment
- Assist with planning & coordination of events
- Other tasks and errands, as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years administrative support is preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Internet Savvy
- Strong Internet research skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail and thorough follow through
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others
Please note that this is an hourly position, up to 24 hours a week. We are willing to work with your schedule on days/times in office, however coverage is needed Monday – Friday during regular business hours. There may be an occasion when you may be needed to assist with an after-hours networking event.
