Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing clerical, customer service, and administrative support to the Clearwater and Rockledge housing departments.
Primary Duties

These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
- Clerical duties including but not limited to data entry and review, faxing, copying, filing
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Compose and type routine correspondence
- Reviewing file audits and purging files as deemed necessary
- Keeping housing/tenant files organized and up-to-date
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall filing and purging of all files centralized; other housing-related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities desired
- At least two years administrative experience desired

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (required)
- Proficient typing skills
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must have the physical ability to assist participants with mobility and guidance and lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
