We are a family-owned, full-line steel service center that has been in business in the Tampa Bay Area since 1983. We are looking for an energetic Administrative Assistant with Social Media and Customer Service skills. A successful candidate will have experience answering the phone, directing calls, and capturing information. Additionally, this candidate will have proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Answer and direct in-coming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
 Greet and welcome customers and guests as soon as they arrive at the office
 Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
 Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
 Monitor office operations and manage supplies, paperwork, files, etc to ensure maximum productivity and a clean work environment for all company staff.
 Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
 Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
 Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
 Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
 Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
 Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
 Collaborate with Company Owners to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
 Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
 Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills
 Ability to communicate in English; ability to communicate in bi-lingual English/Spanish is ideal.
 Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
 Proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
 Excellent communication, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
 Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).
 Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
 Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
 Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
 Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
 Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
 High school Diploma; Associates Degree or higher preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour
