WHO WE ARE:

We are a small and rapidly growing IT Managed Service Provider headquartered in Tampa Florida. We provide outsourced IT services to businesses in Tampa Bay and Kansas City, MO areas. We are very fast-paced, and this position requires the ability to multitask, problem-solve and be a quick thinker. We are looking for an eager, hungry, and motivated individual for a part-time employment position who is willing to work hard and be a team player. Office administrative skills are a must in this fast-paced environment as well as a “nothing is impossible” mindset.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this part-time position, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of office tasks including, but not limited to, AP, AR, GL (QuickBooks knowledge strongly preferred), general office work, expense reports, vendor research, product ordering, bill pay, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.

This role will provide general administrative coverage for approximately 20 hours a week and may include occasional after hours or weekend scheduled work.

You will work alongside different internal teams such as Service, Sales, Operations and Administration teams and provide general office support as needed.

It is imperative that you enjoy working in a team environment and play well with others.

General IT / Administrative courses are strongly encouraged during the first 18 months of employment.

This is a part-time, hourly position based out of our Tampa, FL office.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for the general administrative services that keep the business running such as…

  • AP, AR, GL (QuickBooks knowledge strongly preferred)
  • General office work
  • Managing team travel and booking (if required)
  • Expense reports
  • Filing
  • Storage room management
  • Ordering, managing, and assigning product inventory
  • Organizing conference details
  • Vendor research
  • Bill Pay
  • Mail – both incoming and outgoing
  • Depositing Checks
  • Running office errands
  • Speaking to current vendors regarding IT issues/office issues
  • Organizing office area

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • 2 years AP, AR, GL knowledge (QuickBooks knowledge strongly preferred)
  • 2 years Microsoft Office experience
  • 20 hours per week work schedule
  • Ability to work between normal business hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol checks
  • Driver’s License with a reliable insured vehicle and no prior driving history issues
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • 1 yr experience with customer service
  • Professional appearance and behavior, including punctuality
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

WISH-LIST QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of Remote Management Tools in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems particularly ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and ConnectWise Control
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams
  • Supporting conference equipment such as audio and video
