Job Description:
Performs a variety of administrative functions. Requires a high school diploma with 0 to 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Makes copies, files, and faxes. Prepares and scans documents. Composes memos and/or cover pages for the processing of policy related materials. Performs look ups using proprietary software for policies, registrations, certifications and verifications. Electronically indexes policy information. Handles multiple projects for particular business group. Possesses beginning to intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel. Has a high comfort level with Windows based software. Must be familiar with general office equipment. Detail oriented and extremely organized. Possesses ability to work in team environment but can also work independently. Takes direction well from management.
Excellent typing/key boarding skills needed. Accuracy is critical.

-Understand and differentiate between similar documents and information.
-Excellent organizational skills required.
-Ability to listen and take direction on managing multiple tasks.
-Flexibility to meet differing requirements.
-Some bookkeeping or accounting background helpful but Accounting degree is not required.
-Advance spelling skills.
-Advanced typing/key boarding skills required.
-Microsoft Office experience needed; some advanced Excel required
