This position performs supervisory duties of personnel and/or functional areas and complex clerical work requiring skilled and accurate typing and knowledge of Sheriff’s Office policies and procedures. Incumbents are expected to exercise independent judgment and to make decisions regarding complex questions and work methods.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma
* Five (5) years’ experience in a clerical office environment
* OR two (2) year’s supervisory experience
* OR equivalent combination of experience
* An accuracy score of 80% on data entry
* Typing speed of 25wpm
* Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
Additional Responsibilities
* Oversee and process requests/reimbursements for Wellness Incentive and Educational Assistance programs
* Oversee Length of Service gift and Distinguished Service Award programs
* Public Records Requests
* Coordinate/schedule events with vendors
* Assist with New Hire Onboarding
* Accounts Payable/Receivable (billing/invoices)
* Assist/back-up HR Benefits Specialists
