JOB TITLE: Administrator
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall management and performance of an Assisted Living Facility
- Ensure high quality resident services within budgetary guidelines
- Responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local procedures and regulations
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to: Manager
- Supervises: Director of Nursing, Maintenance Department, Activities Director, Dietary Dept. and Business Office
- Interfaces with: Residents, guests, families, all employees and supervisors, state licensing agencies and the external community at large
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- *
- Direct the overall operations of the facility
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local policies
- Manage occupancy development of the facility
- Marketing utilizing sales and marketing staff
- Develop and implement a community-wide resident relations program
- Foster effective communication and team work among the Management group to ensure high quality resident services
- Ensure compliance with all licensing agencies including license renewals
- Oversee the management of all facility vendor contracts, leases and warrants
- Oversee the management of the facility
- Direct the safety and loss prevention program
- Monitor adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Take remedial action when necessary
- Develop and execute a quality assurance program
- Ensure adherence to ethical business practices
- Managing Personnel
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection, retention and termination of all employees of the facility
- Ensure adequate and effective orientation and training of all employees in their job specific duties and in the understanding of the facility’s resident population
- Supervise, train, develop and evaluate department heads by providing ongoing, timely feedback
- Establish a positive employee relations program
- Create a motivating work environment which encourages positive problem solving and overall job satisfaction for employees
