SUMMARY

The Amenities & Lifestyle Manager (“ALM”) fulfills an important role that provides exceptional lifestyle leadership and direction on behalf of a large, growing master-planned community. As a key associate involved with the planned-community’s developer, existing homeowners and prospective homeowners, other on-site staff and vendors, and our company’s internal support staff, the ALM serves with excellence and professionalism in all interactions with our stakeholders and team-members and has a positive and significant impact on the day-to-day life and development of the client-community.

The focus of this role is two-fold: managing a large, multi-million dollar, resort-style amenity center within the community as well as designing and delivering exceptional activities and events for the residents. The demographics of the community range from young children to early-retirees, with most residents being active adults and families.

Qualifications

  • Manage: Oversee the day-to-day lifestyle program and operation of the amenity center. Includes hiring and scheduling of amenity center staff, vendors, etc.
  • Design: Survey the community, seek resident contributions of ideas and participation, and utilize your own creativity and the ideas of other associates to create engaging activities, events and programs tailored to the community’s wide-range of ages and interests. * Promote: Drive interest in the offered activities and events, using a variety of methods such as personal interaction, newsletters, website, e-blasts and positive word-of-mouth.
  • Administer: Oversee residents’ participation with the lifestyle program. Secure vendors and staff. Execute while working with our on-site GM, maintenance techs, and other staff. Debrief with personnel after an event, in order to improve future offerings.
  • Develop strong interpersonal relationships with the residents, sales associates, vendors, and others, built upon integrity and trust.
  • Specific duties as assigned by the on-site General Manager.

WORK-SKILLS:

  • Leadership: Lead staff and vendors in achieving a common vision and appropriate goals.
  • Customer Service: Utilize a constant attitude of serving the residents with excellence.
  • Communication: Provide effective written and verbal communication.
  • Organization: Establish and maintain effective order by managing a staffing budget and special events budget, planning and executing programs as well as a facility maintenance and safety plan, coordinating vendors, and supervising on-site staff.

EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar field demonstrating proficiency in similar events management and/or recreation/leisure/hospitality facilities management and must be a “people-person,” self-organized, and able to excel at “multi-tasking.”

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of and Experience with Social Media channels
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Publisher

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma mandatory with a college degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must have the ability to lift 15 lbs., drive a vehicle and work outside.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Climate-controlled inside spaces as well as periodic exposure to outdoor elements.
