Apartment Leasing Consultant / Needed Immediately! – BG Multifamily (Tampa)

We are hiring for a leasing consultant with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience for a temp-to-perm position. This position starts at $10+ and requires an open schedule and flexibility! Must have own vehicle. May be starting immediately.

As a leasing consultant your number one priority is helping prospective residents find the right apartment home. Using high-level communication skills along with strategic selling skills, your dynamic, supportive, and considerate personality, combined with community knowledge, provide the positive and genuine experience people crave and seldom discover when looking for their new home.

As a Leasing Specialist you will have the responsibility of:

• Greeting, showing/touring model apartments to prospective residents

• Processing and supervising resident applications, move-ins and move-outs

• Maintaining prospect, traffic and leasing data

• Assisting in tenant screening and processing of credit checks

• Preparing lease documentation and completing move-in procedures

• Assisting residents with maintenance requests

• Handling telephone calls and on-site traffic

• Assisting with marketing to include preparation of flyers, newsletters and market surveys

• Assisting Property Manager in all aspects of property management

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish – PLUS

• Positive resident relations

• Strong organizational skills

• Highly motivated and energetic with the ability to motivate others

• Reliable transportation a must

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong customer service and sales skills

• Customer oriented, enthusiastic, team play and goal oriented

• Flexibility to work weekends

• Minimum of at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in leasing
