The Leasing Agent is a vital force on any community. They serve both incoming prospects, along with the every-day unpredictable needs that come with property management. Without our Leasing Agents taking amazing care of our residents, we would not be able to keep our properties open and running. Job Requirements:

  • Educational Attainment – High school Diploma preferred, Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • Experience – 2-3 years of experience is necessary to apply for the position , although we take pride in our outstanding training and look for those who are willing to learn and grow. However, experience in the industry is a plus, and other similar or applicable experience will also be considered (such as experience in sales, marketing, customer service, retail, hospitality, fine dining, etc.)
  • Certifications : All recent applicable certifications attained will also be considered.

Other Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to travel to and from the property.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Ability to work full-time (40-hours a week).

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Opening the office and ensuring it is in a clean and presentable state for the day.
  • Opening model units and preparing them to be toured for the day.
  • Walking available units to check the status and ensure they are viewable for prospects. If the unit is leased and not yet ready, then the Leasing Agent will observe the progress of the unit to verify that move-in date will be met.
  • Ensuring refreshments are out and presentable.
  • Check voice-mails and emails and respond accordingly.
  • Organize desk area and resident and office mail (when applicable).
  • Print out availability and pricing for the day.
  • Ensure that all necessary office supplies and materials are stocked for the day.
  • Post on Craigslist.
  • Check and update all on-line marketing resources when necessary.
  • Ensure all amenities are open, clean, and functional.
  • Check new and outstanding work-orders. Follow-up with resident and maintenance team on completed work orders.
  • Ensure golf cart is out and ready for the day.
  • Ensure curb appeal is fully realized with balloons, banners, signs, and overall cleanliness.
  • Giving outstanding customer service to our residents and assuring all their needs be met.
  • Giving fantastic and thorough tours to incoming prospects ensuring that they are greeted immediately and are taken to see all amenities and units desired.
  • Answering all incoming calls.
  • Placing new work-orders.
  • Setting tour appointments.
  • Working within the on-site team to identify and overcome all urgent issues on the property.
  • Giving amazing customer service at all times.
  • Walking the property when needed.
  • Cross-marketing in the community when needed.
  • Calling the comps. to complete the Market Survey weekly. Shopping the comps. in person when possible.
  • Ensuring that office, models, vacant units, and amenities are closed completely and securely at the end of the day.
  • Ensuring golf carts and all outdoor display items are brought inside and secured.
  • Ensure necessary alarms are set.
  • Ensure daily watch and other necessary reports are completed.
  • Ensure that phones are put on answering service for the night.
  • Ensure the completeness and correctness of all lease files.
  • Ensure that all prospects are qualifying for their lease and all necessary verifications are done and money collected upon move-in.
  • Always strive to be presentable, sanitary, and healthy for work each day.
  • Sales-driven and self-motivated.
