Cambridge Management, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

About the position
Preventive Maintenance/Safety:
- Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
- Constantly be aware of the condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately corrects unsafe conditions.
General: Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed
- Electrical and plumbing (including water lines).
- A/C and heating systems
- Water irrigation systems
- Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
- Tile, carpet, flooring
- Roofing, gutters, fasteners
- Gas fixtures and appliances
- Security systems
- Ceiling leaks
- Be knowledgeable of inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
- Performs any additional duties assigned by Regional Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
Job Requirements:
Skill and Abilities
- Must have a valid State Driver’s License if working multiple properties or driving a golf cart on property
- Ability to manage multiple high priorities at once
- Flexible demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends, as needed
- Must be thorough, reliable, honest, and service-oriented
Required Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
