APSCO Appliance is seeking motivated, professional, experienced appliance and refrigeration technicians to cover the Pinellas County area. Service Area: Pinellas County
Compensation: $35k – $60k, based on skill level and experience
Our technicians provide service/repair of major household appliances in the customer’s home while maintaining a high level of customer service and care. Technicians also provide repair cost estimates and in some cases, will recommend whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice for the customer. Technician is also responsible for recording maintenance and repair work performed on service calls per company policies and procedures.
Specific Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Minimun 4 years of experience with most major household appliances (REFRIGERATION TECHS must have CFC/EPA Certification and at least 2 years of experience working on sealed systems)
- Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
- Technician must have his own basic tools, meters and gauges used in normal repair functions
- Ability to diagnose and repair major household appliances independently and accurately
- Provide repair estimates and collect payment from customers for work performed
- Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams to look up and research parts
- Ability to follow directions and specific procedures to ensure quality workmanship
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets and submit paperwork as required
- Follow vehicle maintenance schedule and keep company vehicle clean and organized
- Excellent people skills and clean-cut /professional appearance
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Be able to pass background check
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday and every other Saturday (off Sundays)
