Job Summary:
Florida Commercial Care, a commercial landscape industry leader for over 25 years, is looking for a driven Area Manager that is reliable with an excellent work ethic. Applicants must be knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of professional landscaping and Property Maintenance Services.
Immediate full-time Area Manager position available with a rapidly growing business that is looking for long-term employees to be part of our tight-knit team. Florida Commercial Care has various divisions, which allow for additional growth opportunity.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associate’s Degree in Agriculture, Management or related field knowledge, preferred but not required
- At least 5 years’ experience in the landscape industry as a Manager and/or Supervisor
- Must be a Self-Starter; who is motivated, gregarious, and learns quickly
- Interpersonal and computer skills are required
- Pays close attention to details and has outstanding organizational skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a 3-5 year history of good driving
- Excellent Customer Service; will have contact with clients on a daily basis
- Respond quickly and thoroughly to customer concerns and requests
- BMP Certification Required
Management Duties Include (but, not limited to):
- Operate within a budget
- Interview, hire, orientate and train new employees
- Supervise and evaluate crew performance
- Strive to not only meet, but exceed company goals
Typical work week is Monday through Friday; must be available after hours to address customer emergencies.
