We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Asset Management Team in Clearwater, FL . The Analyst must demonstrate attention to detail, organization, analytical orientation, and possess the initiative to work in an independent and reliable manner. In this important role, the Analyst will provide exceptional service to our clients and perform asset management functions at a high level. The Analyst adds value to the Asset Management Department by ensuring quality and timely completion of various duties. The Analyst, with guidance from the assigned Asset Managers, analyzes the portfolio and proactively manages risk. The Analyst must demonstrate the ability to evaluate risk and apply discretion for risked based decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual and quarterly financial statement analysis for an assigned portfolio of multifamily and senior housing properties in accordance with JLL’s best practices and the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and Other Investors
  • Administer functions in accordance with loan document(s) as well as the requirements of the Investor and JLL
  • Follow up with borrowers and management companies regarding financial statement variances and general questions regarding income and expenses
  • Assist in creating Action Plans for watchlist properties
  • Assist Asset Manager in risk rating assigned portfolio
  • Assist in the processing of Special Requests such as easements, partial releases, management changes, insurance losses, etc.
  • Review, prepare and make recommendations for releases from the replacement reserve escrow
  • Review, prepare and make recommendations for releases from other escrows including repairs, insurance loss, rental achievement, etc.
  • Participate in new loan intake meetings, review loan documents, and establish records in Asset Management database
  • Distribute initial correspondence to management companies and borrowers for new loans
  • Attend and contribute to Asset Management Department meetings, as requested
  • Attend Agency conference calls to stay apprised of new developments
  • Accompany Asset Manager on annual property inspections as requested
  • Communication with lender partners regarding questions about their portfolio
  • Prepare and submit assigned reports to management and investors, as required
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
  • Strong math, verbal, writing, and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to operate under demanding deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and work on several transactions simultaneously
  • Ability to recognize risk
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to audit own work
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Occasional travel as needed
