Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Chief Acquisition Officer & S.V.P., Investment Management, the Asset Manager acts as the primary owner representative for their assigned Tenant / Operator Relationship. This position will work closely and collaboratively with Investment Management team to develop asset plans and strategies to enhance the value of our investments.
- Schedule regular meetings with appropriate levels of tenant management / operator
- Travel to assigned markets / properties on a periodic basis
- Complete site visit reports providing intelligence on tenant operations and credit, market conditions and comps, and building condition and maintenance
- Collaborate with Property Management to administer lease / loan agreements
- Work with Property Managers to develop leasing plans and contingency plans
- Develop credit monitoring procedures and reports alongside the S.V.P., Investment Management and Investment Management Analyst
- Engage outside brokers to develop market comps and statistics
- Other duties related to overall value enhancement and risk mitigation
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Advanced degree; MBA, CPA, CFA preferred
- 3-5 years of asset management or commercial real estate management experience
- REIT structure experience a plus

- Knowledge of Healthcare and Data Center Real Estate
- Strong communication skills and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across different departments
- Ability to develop Asset Improvement Plans
- Develop periodic reports in conjunction with VP, Investment Management
- Work-out experience a plus
- Argus and Yardi experience a plus
