Ally Capital Group is currently searching for an asset manager. The Asset Manager will play an integral role in maximizing the performance of ACG’s current portfolio and future acquisitions by assisting in all aspects of the administrative, financial, capital and operations of the team’s investments.
Ally Capital Group, LLC (“ACG”) is a private equity investment company headquartered in Tampa, Florida ACG invests in real estate assets through debt and equity instruments. Since its inception, the Company has acquired a portfolio of properties equating to nearly $200 M in value. ACG has executed on investments in multiple asset classes including multi -family, retail, office, and mixed -use. In addition, ACG has completed commercial real estate development projects as well as complex distressed opportunities such as note acquisitions, recapitalization buyouts, and bankruptcies. ACG simplifies real estate investing for our clients through our vertically structured platform. Our platform includes and is not limited to sourcing and identifying investments, performing comprehensive underwriting, developing business plans, deal making through integrative negotiations, preparing purchase and sale agreements, conducting thorough due diligence, securing favorable financing, maximizing value through asset management, and performing all accounting requirements, all while providing full transparency to our investors.
Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Maximize property value and investment returns.
- Make decisions on reducing expenditures and mitigating liability and risk.
- Implement plans to increase revenue.
- Negotiate and approve leases and other service agreements.
- Oversee property managers and leasing agents and hold them accountable for reaching ownership’s goals.
- Complete budgets, monitor expenses, analyze and report budget variances.
- Assist in market research and data analysis.
- Assist in due diligence of potential acquisitions.
- Work with project managers to develop scopes of work and manage costs for potential developments or capital improvement projects.
- Oversee refinancing and disposition events.
- Perform monthly review of properties operating statements.
- Assist in creating regular reporting of operational and financial results.
- Conduct bi-weekly property calls with onsite management and leasing.
- Conduct bi-quarterly property visits for thorough investigation of the properties physical conditions and operations.
- Manage Joint Venture partner relationships through periodic update calls, property tours/visits, and analysis.
Qualifications
Experience/ Qualifications/ Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in real asset management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate or related field.
- Proficiency in Argus required.
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft office applications with the ability to develop excel spreadsheets.
- Understanding of financial concepts and ability to perform IRR and ROI analysis.
- Familiarity with Yardi.
- Competency and experience in contract and lease review.
- Experience in multifamily, retail, office and new development preferred
- Prior experience on a GP/Sponsor team would be beneficial.
- Self-starter personality with flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-acting environment.
- Ability to individually complete projects with specific deadlines.
- Ability and desire to cultivate strong internal and external working relationships.
- Ability to negotiate to achieve the best results for a property’s performance.
