This is a support position of a designated Division within the Stormwater, Pavement, and Traffic Operations Department. The duties are administrative support, data analysis, data entry, and responding to public inquiries. This position is a Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) liaison. The person will be responsible for WACS activities such as maintaining work process flows, training departmental staff, and developments within the WACS system. The selected candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of departmental data, generating reports, and quality-checking asset information. Work includes creating, updating, and closing work orders and See Click Fix requests. An employee in this class must quickly develop a thorough knowledge of departmental programs, procedures, and policies. This position requires the exercise of considerable independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Salary: $25.34 – $40.26 Hourly

To Qualify


Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:

  • Possess a valid Bachelor’s degree or a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency combined with experience.
  • Possess and continue to maintain a valid Driver License.
  • Previous experience providing end-user support.
  • Knowledge of business English and a high level of expertise in proofreading and use of correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
  • This position is designated as Emergency Critical (EC) you must be available to the department before, during, and after a declared emergency or disaster.

Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants:

  • Considerable experience supporting WACS systems.
  • Public works utilities experience.
  • Can work efficiently and effectively in a work team.
  • Experience in supporting asset management computer software.
  • Developing, reviewing, and evaluating asset management and budgetary reports.
