Assistant Project Manager – Construction Management

Job Summary: This role encompasses managing internal project teams, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring that project milestones are achieved on schedule and within financial constraints. The field Assistant Project Manager will facilitate collaboration across various departments and ensure clear communication throughout the project’s lifecycle. This client is a General Contractor that handles Commercial, Residential, Multi-family, and Developer builds.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in field Construction Project Management
  • Prior or current experience working at a General Contracting company
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects 50+ million
  • Procore experience preferred
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project teams, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate the bid process, including obtaining subcontractor bids, developing scopes of work, evaluating value engineering (VE) options, and finalizing project schedules and financial plans.
  • Oversee the day-to-day construction process, ensuring that work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure a smooth project closeout, including completing the punchlist, final inspections, and any required documentation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the project team. Regularly communicate project status and resolve issues promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
