Our company is looking for Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager to assist the PM with the management of a project from beginning to end. We specialize in Retail, Grocery, Office, Banking, Restaurant, Warehouse, and Hotel/Hospitality but do many other types of commercial construction including major “open” store remodels throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities and communication skills that allow him or her to work as part of a team to set up and execute a project and produce results. He or she will work hand in hand with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to complete projects on time and within budget. Job Requirements

This position will assist the Project Managers to:

· Order/Schedule (FBO) Materials, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment

· Project Mobilization (Fencing, Job Trailer, Storage Trailers, Port O Let, Forklift, etc.)

· Change Orders – Building Change Order Workbooks with Backup (submit to PM for final approval)

· Maintain Change Order Logs

· Submittals (Keep log – collect, submit, and distribute information)

· Closeout Documents (Submit all documents required)

· Set up Project in Procore, Upload Drawings, Specs, CCD’s

· Maintain RFI Logs, keep updated weekly

· Submit equipment supplier Invoices for reimbursement and freeform invoice in CE

· Complete Labor Rate Workbook and submit to CM for Approval

· Complete Sub list in Quickbase 1 week prior to Construction Start

· Complete Sub list and Supplier list in detail with all project-specific contacts, upload in Procore

· Order job site signage and Labor Law Posters

· Order Hazmat (First Aid Kit, LOTO, Spill Kits, Eye Wash Stations, etc.)

Experience Requirements

· 3+ years experience in an APM role with a General Contractor

· Ability to manage project demands efficiently with no decline in quality control

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be competent with computers

· Experience with “Procore” a plus

· Experience with Walmart Construction or Remodels a plus

· Bilingual a plus
