Assistant Controller

What the Assistant Controller will do:
- The Assistant Controller will perform bank account reconciliations accurately and efficiently
- The Assistant Controller will maintain financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheet and general ledger
- The Assistant Controller will prepare internal and external financial statements
- The Assistant Controller will prepare payments by accruing expensing, assigning account numbers, requesting disbursements, and reconciling accounts
- The Assistant Controller will develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
What the company needs in a Assistant Controller:
- 3+ years of full cycle accounting
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Experience in distribution industry (+)
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to handle multiple projects at one time
