Kforce has a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:

Assistant Controller will prepare Financial Statements

Owning the ME Close Cycle

Review and analyze Balance Sheets

As an Assistant Controller, you will lead and control closing schedules

Audit preparation (Internal)

Sales and Use Tax review (filed by the Staff Accountants)

Estimated Sales Tax (reviewing Staff Accountants)

5 Direct Reports


Multi-Unit/entity accounting experience required

Previous experience within hospitality or restaurant accounting

Knowledge of Internal Controls

Understanding of Property Tax and Insurance payments

Understanding of GL Dates and Documented dates

Working knowledge of R365 would be nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
