The Pinellas County Attorney’s Office is currently recruiting for the position of Assistant County Attorney I. The successful candidate will represent County government departments, boards, and programs in a non-litigation position with a heavy transactional focus, including: drafting and reviewing contracts, ordinances, procurement documents, and correspondence; advising local government departments; advising boards at public meetings; attending quasi-judicial hearings as needed; and providing other legal representation as assigned by the County Attorney. An attorney in this position will work on a wide range of local government law issues, which may include, but not be limited to, procurement, construction contracts, human rights, first amendment, sunshine and public records, and code enforcement issues. Minimum qualifications include admission to the Florida Bar.
Salary range: $61,360.00 – $98,196.80.
