The Sandpearl Resort is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager who will provide leadership, consistency, and spectacular Guest Service to our Guests. The Assistant Front Office Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong aptitude for attaining Guest Satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks quickly and efficiently while taking ownership of actions
- Previous experience in a Guest Service management role, preferably in a resort setting
- Previous experience in resort Front Office Management
- Experience in Opera a plus
The major areas of responsibility/management include:
Front Desk, PBX, Bell Stand, Valet, Concierge.
Manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in managing the operations of the Front Office to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.
- Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
- Resolve customer complaints, anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues, business flow and associate performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
- Assist in training, developing, empowering, coaching and counseling, resolving problems, providing open communication vehicles, disciplining as appropriate.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments.
