Must have the following in order to apply:

Job Description:  The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the profitability and efficient operation of the Service Department. Builds partnerships with sales team to attract new customers while retaining existing accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in attaining projected growth and profitability through proper planning and directing of resources
  • Develop and motivate staff to attain standards of performance
  • Analyze reports and initiate corrective actions for unacceptable trends
  • Retain client base and expand that base through sales
  • Responsible for selecting and recruiting candidates
  • Resolve or elicit expertise of company staff personnel in resolutions of all matters pertaining to the profitable operation of the Market Center
  • Ensure that subordinate staff turnover in less than 10% annualized
  • Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate staff providing feedback on their management and leadership skills and the attainment of their respective goals and objectives
  • Direct and supervise Market Center employees
  • Coach to improve subordinate performance
  • Hold employees accountable for meeting goals
  • Recruit, select, train and develop staff
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect operations
  • Comply with Federal regulations and company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment: Office environment.

Days & Hours:  Full Time position. 1st shift, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.
