attractions, The Grove is unique in that it is has a 16 screen traditional theatre downstairs and
upstairs is the CinéBistro, providing full service in-theatre dining and a full service restaurant.
The Grove is known to be an avid community partner, most notably for the Annual Back to
School Bash, which brings together community resources and families for the benefit of all. The
Grove also hosts unique themed events for team members throughout the year for the
purposes of team building and education.

We are seeking Assistant Managers who meet the following Job Requirements:
* Management or supervisory experience in the theater, retail, hospitality, or restaurant
industries; high volume experience preferred
* Must be able to demonstrate knowledge & experience in the following areas:
o Building, coaching, and developing a team
o Hands-on leadership style
o Coaching and corrective action
* Understanding and skillful with:
o Guest services & problem solving
o Business Development – Driving/attracting business
o P&L impact – Cost controls, quality standards
* Teamwork
o Building relationships with staff, superiors, and guests
* Passion for and commitment to the theater/restaurant industry.
* Entrepreneurial attitude and approach to thinking required to lead an emerging
concept/brand (i.e. sees big picture, embraces critical thinking, quest for continuous
improvement, innovative).
* Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them, even when there isn’t a clear
precedent or direction.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate directions and
expectations to staff and management and has the sincere desire to build, coach, and
develop successful teams.
* Commitment to fostering an environment of superior guest service and quality; ability
to successfully resolve guest service issues.
* Basic technical aptitude and computer literacy to include the ability to operate point-ofsale
software, scheduling software, MS Word, and MS Excel.
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to pass thorough background check
* Interest in future Lead Assistant or General Manager Positions and ability to relocate as
needed for upward mobility strongly preferred.
