Assistant Manager – Fine Arts Academy (Tampa)

​Would you want to work in a music store?  We are now looking to hire a part-time assistant manager to work approximately 16-20 hours per week. Candidate must have excellent people skills, good computer skills, and is an independent, reliable worker.

Job duties include answering phones, registering and scheduling students for music lessons, selling retail, minimal housekeeping (vacuuming, maintain cleanliness of storefront, lesson rooms, and bathroom), balancing cash register, opening and closing of facility.

Other requirements include the ability to multi-task and wear many different hats. Sales experience in music retail is strongly preferred but not required.

Hours are usually 3pm to 8pm during the week with opportunities for additional hours.

Description: Tampa Fine Arts Academy is looking for individuals who have a passion for music and want to show other people how to play music. We are looking for people who can teach guitar, bass, drums, voice, piano, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, saxophone, flute, clarinet, ukulele, trombone, French horn, and tuba. Hours are typicially in the afternoons and evenings.

Key Qualities: are a must. Ideal client will have clear communication skills, ability to relate well with children, and an education in music. Other required attributes are reliability, consistency and punctuality.
