Experience: Yardi experience a plus! One year of leasing experience preferred. Bilingual is a plus.
Education: Minimum High School Diploma/GED 
Assistant Manager – Plant City Towers – Plant City, Florida Assistant Manager needed for a senior living apartment community in Plant City, FL. The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager in the general administration and physical operation of the Community. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have prior affordable housing property management experience. Posting the cash receipts journal daily, maintaining current tenant ledger cards and making bank deposits. Ensuring that the resident file system is kept according to Community and/or HUD policy. Accepting and recording maintenance work orders.  Following up on maintenance requests to ensure they have been completed.  Processing and coding bills properly for Community Manager. Filing all completed work orders, as well as other filing duties.  Assisting in the preparation of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Accepting and processing all applications and HUD paperwork.  Ensuring that the resident file system is kept according to Community and/or HUD policy, including all necessary documents. Collecting rent and preparing late notices. Assisting in any verification and rectification process.
Assisting in on-site or management-resident relations. Assisting in investigating and resolving resident complaints. Must respect residents’ privacy and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of Community business.
Must be able to work with others, lead and motivate others in the absence of the Community Manager. The ability and willingness to accept and follow the directions of others.
Possess excellent clerical and/or typing skills. Must be honest, dependable, courteous and possess cooperative character traits.
Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts. Ability to exercise unimpeded judgement. Ability to deal effectively with all emergency situations. Drug test and extensive background check required.
