Westdale is currently seeking a customer service oriented, energetic, professional to join one of our teams at Waterchase Apts. Some of the essential functions and responsibilities of an Assistant Community Manager are as follows:
- Assists the Community Manager in creating and maximizing income opportunities through the management of community operations
- Makes recommendations to enhance the bottom line performance of the community
- Ensures adherence to all policies regarding financial responsibilities
- Administers late and non-sufficient check charges
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of bank deposits, and computer data
- Schedules necessary repairs and make-ready activities
- Supervises on-site personnel in the absence of Community Manager
- Assists with rent collections striving for zero delinquencies each month
- Assists with community inspections
- Maintains make-ready process
- Prepares a monthly financial Delinquency Report
- Assisting prospective renters and answer telephones
- Keeping abreast of competition and changes in the market
- Conducting unit inspections for move in/move out condition and turnkey/rent ready condition
- Assist in coordinating and participate in resident functions
- Performing clerical duties or other tasks as requested by the Community Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience in Property Management preferred
- Ability to deal well with people, professional image, good written and verbal communication skills, customer service oriented and administrative/bookkeeping skills
- Must be able to work weekends
