Marcus & Millichap, the nation’s leading commercial real estate investment company, is seeking a career minded Assistant Marketing Coordinator to help support a team of very successful agents and their staff.

The ideal candidate for this position will not only possess a variety of marketing skills including experience using InDesign, but will also bring “added value” to the team with thorough writing and research skills and a tech savvy background. Must be personable, an excellent communicator with a can-do and will-do attitude, and have a strong desire to help in the continued growth and success of the team.

The Assistant Marketing Coordinator will have growth opportunity to transition into the Marketing Coordinator role within six months, and then the potential to become the Marketing Manager for the team through demonstrated excellence in completing work responsibilities and the desire to grow within the role.

Specific Responsibilities- Assistant Marketing Coordinator

  • Create, proof and modify templated marketing packages created in InDesign
  • Assist in the creation of high-quality marketing materials including quarterly reports, flyers and other custom marketing pieces
  • Create and disseminate email marketing campaigns using various mass email programs such as Constant Contact
  • Assist with research and preparations for client meetings and team projects
  • Develop and maintain social media accounts to build team brand awareness
  • Maintain team website and awareness of competitors’ activities
  • Assist Agents with lead reports, database data entry and management of contacts
  • Create invitations and marketing for team events including agent conferences and client networking events
  • Assist with various operational and administrative tasks as requested

Job Requirements

  • Intermediate experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign and Photoshop required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks in a proactive and self-directed manner within the scope of the role
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong work ethic, verbally articulate and detail-oriented
  • Possess a desire to learn new concepts and master new software applications
  • Real estate marketing experience preferred
  • Social media marketing experience preferred
  • Graphic/Creative design skills and experience is a plus
