For over 50 years, Kustom US has provided emergency property restoration and construction services to residential, commercial, industrial and governmental property owners through facilities located throughout the US.

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and on site supervision of restoration projects from contract signing to completion of work.

Description:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate permit pulls, source subcontractors and staff, order materials, schedule work, etc. to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Direct all field personnel and ensure quality of workmanship to complete projects per the approved scope of work, on time and within budget
  • Certify completion of work, obtain signed paperwork, and update system for final invoicing
  • Construct a punch list with property owners and ensure satisfactory completion of projects
  • Submit updates to property owners and the Project Manager weekly or as needed per project
  • Schedule inspections with the building department and / or mortgage company
  • Communicate with the Project Manager for any changes or additional work / supplements required and obtain approvals for all change orders prior to work
  • Inspect all jobs on a weekly basis or as needed for quality control, safety, and compliance with applicable rules, laws, and statutes
  • Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience:
  • Capable of running multiple insurance restoration projects within budget
  • Experience / understanding of major trades processes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
  • IICRC Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer experience a must
  • Flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, and a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving, leadership, communication, interpersonal, organization, scheduling, and planning skills
