Responsibilities

  • Enforce jobsite safety to comply with OSHA regulations
  • Maintain daily logs to document all jobsite activities and events
  • Inspect construction and enforce quality standards

  • Review and monitor the work of all of the trades to ensure compliance with code, the plans and the contract.
  • Proactively manage all site safety issues to minimize accidents and lost time.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects within the constraints of the schedule and budget
  • Provide jobsite leadership and direction
  • Salaried position, not necessarily 8am to 5pm – job may require evening and weekend work whether it be communication with client or leadership, or emergency that required physical attention on the jobsite
  • Must be familiar with and implement the contracted scope of work
  • Work to ensure that all on-site workers are covered by a Workers Compensation insurance policy
  • Work to anticipating jobsite needs (i.e.: materials delivery, owner decisions, lining up subcontractors and making sure that we have all of the information needed from the trades)
  • Provide oversight, direction, and coordination in the collection of data for any alleged bodily injury / property damage or loss incident related to the project.

  • Work hand-in-hand with other support staff to plan, monitor, and manage the projects
  • Communicate approved changes in the scope of work and associated schedule adjustments with the subcontractors and other field personnel in a timely manner
  • Attend pre-construction meetings as required
  • Attend weekly client meetings as required
  • Additional duties as deemed necessary by leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
