WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to assist in overseeing a portfolio of 1000+ properties. The successful candidate will have great organizational skills, be an effective and compassionate communicator and have prior experience. Individual will be responsible for all aspects of day to day property management. Candidate must also have proven success demonstrating prior experience in the field of long-term residential property management, possess strong customer service skills, problem solving, decision-making, multi-tasking, communication, administrative, organizational skills and be a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

  • Manage the high-level operations of being an assistant property manager.
  • Maintain all advertising, leasing and placement of perspective residents.
  • Execute the renewing existing residents.
  • Assist in maintenance coordination and vendor relations.
  • Oversee rent collection and curing deficiencies.
  • Ability to develop and manage operational budgets to meet property goals and objectives.Manage day to day operations, focusing on occupancy, collections, and budgets.
  • Strong communication and organization skills with client and customer focus
  • Exercise common sense, good judgment, and consistency in day-to-day contact with clients, residents and prospective applicants and in other business-related matters
  • Formulate and manage the operational and capital budget for the property, track and report on the financial performance of the property and implement strategies for enhancing the value of the asset.
  • Report weekly occupancy, vacancy loss, delinquencies, outstanding receivables and other items that impact daily performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the property management industry
  • Proficiency in property-level accounting with demonstrated success at working within a budgetary framework
  • Self-motivated and effective working in a team environment
  • History of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to property management

Salary based on experience.
