The Assistant Manager is an integral part of our community management team, dedicated to the financial success of the property and exceptional service to residents. The Assistant Property Manager, under the direction of the Property Manager, is responsible for coordinating all aspects of apartment community operations and to act as main point of contact in the absence of the Property Manager. The right candidate must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.
Essential Functions:
The position responsibilities include supporting Property Manager with monitoring the financial operations and achieving budgeted NOI, monitoring and directing rental activity, all on-site marketing activities, and maintaining an in-depth, ongoing knowledge of the local market, assisting in the timely collection& posting of rents, banking activities, documentation of all transactions, preparation of all reporting documentation, and to provide professional service at all times, creating and communicating high expectations for staff, holding them accountable for results.
The position requires the ability to physically tour the property in its entirety, the ability to oversee any and all maintenance functions, assist with emergency measures as required, and the ability to withstand all weather conditions including temperatures in excess of 90 degrees or below 32 degrees.

Must have basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Word and Excel. Yardi knowledge preferred.
Qualifications:

A minimum of one-year residential leasing and/or management experience required.

A minimum of a high school education is required.

The position requires the ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
