The Mahaffey Apartment Company, owners and managers of over 8,000 apartment units in Florida is looking for an Assistant Manager.
This position is located at our community in Lakeland – Carlton Arms of South Lakeland – on Shepherd Rd a couple minutes west of Florida Ave.

This is a full-time position.If hired, you would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Direct supervision/scheduling of 6 leasing consultants
Training/Coaching Leasing Staff
Residency Application Approvals
Processing Notices & Move Outs
Producing several reports – weekly and monthly
General Office Duties
Resident Relations with regards to problems, complaints, leasing issues, etc…
Demonstration of apartments
Closing the Sale (Rental)
Resident retention
Lease Renewals
Managing Turnkey schedules with make ready crew
This position requires the applicant to possess the following skills:
Good Customer Service including phone/letter writing skills
Detail Oriented
Organized
Friendly
Outgoing
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
Computer operating skills a must (preferably Mac’s but PC is acceptable)
Experience with apartment management software (RealPage-OneSite) preferred but not required
Job Specifics:
Live on property (preferred but not required)
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
1 week vacation after one year
2 weeks vacation after two years and above
Personal/Sick days on an escalating basis up to 7 per year
Health/Dental Insurance available after 90 days
